Games like Rust or Dayz can go crazy with animations and what the crosshair looks like as well. Last edited by Boulop on Thu 2:46 pm, edited 29 times in total. This one is using 18fps but it's sort of.a picture. (REGULAR) You can start/stop the timer by using the End key. You can either show, hide or change the crosshair by using the INSERT key (Inser?) The center of the image will go to the center of the screen It works in Fullscreen, Windowed, Borderless mode Crosshairs' file names must be xhair1.png, xhair2.png, xhair3.png, etc.ĥ- Modify crosshairs count by editing "config_ol.ini" and changing the figure after "XHAIR_COUNT=" (1-9)Ħ- Launch mumble, enable the overlay if it's not done yet, play the game Crosshair's file name must be crosshair.pngĥ- Launch mumble, enable the overlay if it's not done yet, play the gameĤ- Put the crosshairs you want to use and "config_ol.ini" in the same folder as the game executable ("TribesAscend.exe" for example). At the moment there is only one way to switch the crosshairs which may be annoying when using a lot of crosshairs so I might change that after the first feedbacks.)ġ- Go to your mumble folder (where "mumble.exe" is)Ģ- Rename original "mumble_ol.dll" if you don't want to erase it (mumble_ol-backup.dll for example)ģ- Copy the "mumble_ol.dll" you just downloaded to the mumble folderĤ- Put the crosshair you want to use in the same folder as the game executable ("TribesAscend.exe" for example). (Regular version -> up to 9 crosshairs, timer. Nothing confirmed at the moment so use it at your own risk. It's kinda unfair and this needs some change anyway. So my question is: Are we allowed to use an overlay of this kind (drawing a simple crosshair) ? It doesn't interact with the game more than the original overlay does. Still, AHK overlays don't work in fullscreen mode/consume "a lot" of resource and this is real problem in my opinion.īasically the modification is just the creation of a new texture (the crosshair) and that's it.

I read : (3.f, 3.h) and the fact is that mumble's overlay is allowed and AHK overlays are allowed. You only need to be sure that the Terms of Service of a game you play do not deny such enhancement.I just came here to ask hi-rez about the use of a slightly modified overlay (mumble). This tool is not a cheat, it doesn't change games files or game play, it just draws an overlay (like Steam service). Some games allow overlays but with limitations, as example - CSGO which must be started with -allow_third_party_software key in the command line Anti-cheats compatibilityHudSight works in the same manner as most of recording/streaming tools. For example, Destiny 2 or Forza Horizon 4. Games compatibilitySome games don't allow 3rd party overlays. HudSight supports games based on DirectX 9, 10, 11, 12, OpenGL and Vulkan graphics.

Set one of pre-installed crosshairs or select your own image and that's all! Run a game and software will do the rest of work - your image will be automatically centered on the game screen.

They cannot work in this full screen mode. But there is a problem with common "on top" overlay tools. Everyone knows that a game running in the full screen mode gets better performance and lowest possible input lag. Our software uses overlay rendering technique which works both in full screen exclusive and windowed modes.

HudSight tool draws your custom crosshair directly in a game screen.
